Compass is designed around keyboard access, readable contrast, scalable text, restrained motion, clear focus, and alternatives for time-dependent learning activities.
Perceivable
Text and controls target WCAG 2.2 AA contrast. Icons carry labels where they communicate meaning, audio practice includes transcripts in Learn Mode, and status never relies on color alone.
Operable
Core web routes and question controls are keyboard reachable, focus remains visible, touch targets are generous, and reduced-motion preferences disable decorative animation.
Understandable
Learn Mode explains errors and permits retries. Exam Mode removes distractions but preserves explicit save state, timing, navigation, and recovery messages.
Feedback
Accessibility problems can be reported from the support route once accounts launch. High-impact barriers are treated as release blockers, not backlog polish.
